תְּאֵנָה, תְּאֵי׳f. (b. h.) 1) fig-tree; fig. Cant. R. to VI, 2 הת׳ הזו … יפה לה ויפה לת׳ when the fig-tree is plucked in due time, it is good for it and good for the fig; Gen. R. s. 62; Koh.
